Call for Workshops

The NCVPRIPG 2025 will host a bouquet of workshops that will highlight current topics related to research and development in the fields of computer vision, pattern recognition, image processing and graphics. Proposals are invited to organize workshops at NCVPRIPG 2025 in the following thematic areas including, but not limited to:


  • Machine Learning Theory
  • Explainable Computer Vision
  • Image and Video Synthesis
  • Industry applications of vision and image processing techniques
  • Medical Imaging
  • Vision and Language Models
  • Graphics and Language Models
  • Data Intensive Pattern Recognition
  • Exploratory Pattern Recognition
  • Applications of Transformers in vision, medical imaging or other related areas
  • Applications of Generative modeling using diffusion models
  • Applications of Deep Learning for Deepfake
  • Applications of Deep Reinforcement techniques for various vision and image-related works.
  • Applications of Deep Learning techniques for various Underwater vision related works.

    • NOTE: Proposal for workshop may be combined with the proposal for a challenge. The combined proposal should be highlighted clearly in the proposal for the workshop. However, the entire duration of such a proposal should be within the 3 hour limit assigned for a workshop. The guidelines for the proposal for a challenge are available separately.


    Workshop Proposal Format (PDF)

    Each Workshop Proposal must include (please follow the following order in your proposal):

  • Title of the workshop
  • Workshop Organizers (names, affiliation, and contact information)
  • Scope and topics of the workshop (max 1 page)
  • Planned format of the workshop, including a tentative schedule
  • If a plenary (high profile) speaker is being included as a workshop speaker, the workshop duration can be extended to 4 hours. Please mention the name and affiliation of such a speaker in case of such a plan.

    • Proposals should be submitted at google form as mentioned in the link

    All workshop accepted and presented papers will be published by Springer CCIS (Confirmation is awaited).


    Workshop Organization Timeline

  • Submission deadline for the proposal for workshop: April 10, 2025
  • Acceptance Notification: April 12, 2025
    • Tentative dates related to proposed workshop:
  • Release of Call for Paper submission: April 12, 2025
  • Paper submission deadline: May 28, 2025
  • Paper acceptance: June 15, 2025
  • Registration for the workshop ends on: July 1, 2025
